Matheus Souza is a M.S./Ph.D. candidate in the KAUST Computational Imaging Group under the supervision of Professor Wolfgang Heidrich. Graduated in Electrical Engineering at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (2019). His research interests rely on Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Embedded Systems. Before joining KAUST as a student, Matheus Souza worked with Image Processing in the UFRN’s Robotics Lab (Brazil) and researched Embedded Systems for ML models deployment on the edge as visiting student (KAUST).
